Etymology
The older twie meant “two times,” and -s was an adverbial ending. Together they express how often something happens, rather than simply naming the number two.
In context
to two times a week of a given product might be exactly the sweet spot they need. Whereas, like I said, other people really benefit from using an exfoliant, yeah, twice a day.
